The Raising Cane's River Center Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in the United States. The arena can be combined with the exhibition hall to create more than 100,000 square feet of contiguous convention or exhibit space

The USS Kidd was named for Medal of Honor recipient Isaac C. Kidd Sr., who was killed aboard his flagship USS Arizona during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. She is one of only four Fletcher-class destroyers still preserved as museums and the only known destroyer preserved in her World War II configuration. USS Kidd is recognized as one of the most authentically restored vessels in the world by the Historic Naval Ships Association, an organization whose fleet spans several nations scattered across five continents. The attached Veterans Museum displays a variety of artifacts that celebrate veteran and naval military history, with displays and interesting artifacts for all generations.

Together they reduce the number of residents severely impacted by aircraft noise. The components include: upgrading of aircraft engines, the Land Acquisition and Relocation Program, Residential Sound Insulation Program, and the use of noise abatement aircraft operational procedures. The Airport recently wrapped up its $300+ million Capital Improvement Program. We appreciate the patience of our passengers, vendors and friends who dealt with the inconvenience of construction. From new finishes to new spaces, we are proud of the final results of our efforts.

Before the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport became a commercial airport serving over 1.6 million residents from across south Louisiana and southwest Mississippi, it was a military installation for the United States Army Air Corps known as Harding Field. Located in the northwest portion of East Baton Rouge Parish about 5 miles north of downtown Baton Rouge the airport is adjacent to US Interstate 110 and surrounded by four lane highways, LA Highway 67; LA Highway 408; and Veterans Boulevard. The apron is currently configured to accommodate aircraft ranging from Boeing 757 to Regional Jets. Currently 13 to 16 aircraft parking positions are available at and around the terminal for aircraft remaining overnight (RON).
