The LSU football stadium. Better known as 'Death Valley', Tiger Stadium is the most dreaded road site in America. The Tigers have drawn more than 15 million fans since 1957. The East stadium was built in 1926, west in 1932, north in 1937, south in 1957, and more additions were completed in 1978 and 2000. The original seating capacity was 12,000 in 1926 and the total capacity now is 92,600 making Tiger Stadium the 4th largest on-campus stadium in the country.
