Biloxi Lighthouse

Historical landmark
The Biloxi Lighthouse is Biloxi's signature landmark and open for tours! Considered one of the most photographed sites on the Gulf Coast, the tour of the historic 65-foot tall structure involves climbing 57 steps of a spiral staircase inside the lighthouse, and climbing an eight-rung ladder topped by a 19-by-23-inch trap door into the light room.

Walter Anderson Museum of Art

WAMA is dedicated to the preservation and celebration of Walter Anderson, American master, and kindred artists. The Museum is located in historic downtown Ocean Springs, within walking distance of local eateries, shopping, and the water's edge. The visual poetry of Walter Anderson is reflected in this idyllic setting, echoing the artist's belief in societies in harmony with the natural world.

Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum

The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum was established in 1986 to preserve and interpret the maritime history and heritage of Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast. It accomplishes this mission through an array of exhibits on shrimping, oystering, recreational fishing, wetlands, managing marine resources, charter boats, marine blacksmithing, wooden boat building, netmaking, catboats/Biloxi skiff, shrimp peeling machine and numerous historic photographs and objects. Recently completed is the Wade Guice Hurricane Museum within a museum, featuring 1400 square feet of exhibit space and a state of the art theatre.

Mississippi Aquarium

The Mississippi Aquarium tells the incredible story of Mississippi's aquatic resources from the Delta to the coastline and the remarkable connection that ties all of the state's natural resources together. Featuring the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and beyond, the roaring waters of the mighty Mississippi River and the wetlands and marshes of the tranquil bayous, the story of Mississippi's natural resources has never been told in this extraordinary way.

Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art

The Ohr-O’Keefe Museum of Art’s mission is to promote and preserve the unique legacy of Biloxi potter George E. Ohr and the diverse cultural heritage of the Mississippi Gulf Coast; and to exhibit works which exemplify the independent, innovative, and creative spirit of George Ohr, emancipated craftsman Pleasant Reed, and Ohr-O’Keefe Museum architect Frank Gehry. This mission is served through compelling exhibitions and educational experiences viewed from a fresh perspective relevant to our community, the region, and the nation with a strong focus on ceramic arts.

Pascagoula River Audubon Center

The Pascagoula River Audubon Center serves as a gateway to the longest free-flowing river in the lower 48 states where visitors can experience and learn about birds and wildlife throughout the year. The center also serves as a demonstration site for environmentally friendly concepts and a portal to conservation programs applicable to all visitors, local residents and tourists alike. A two-hour interpretive boat tour is also available from the center. Call for directions and hours. The new center features a 5,000 sq ft center with an interpretive area. This area will include seven aquaria highlighting the river's aquatic elements ranging from fresh to brackish. There will also be a nature-based fine art gallery highlighting the work of local, regional, and national nature artists through shows.
