The city's own Bowling Green – Warren County Regional Airport serves private and charter flights, while the Nashville International Airport, located one hour south of Bowling Green, serves an average of 400 daily flights and more than eight million passengers per year. Nashville International passengers can access airport shuttles that travel to downtown Bowling Green. Bowling Green visitors can also travel via the Louisville International Airport. Located two hours north of Bowling Green, Louisville International serves more than three million passengers per year and offers nonstop flights to 20 domestic destinations.

Bowling Green convention facilities include the Sloan Convention Center and Carroll Knicely Conference Center. Located midway between historic downtown Bowling Green and the Interstate 65 corridor, the Sloan Convention Center offers 35,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 19,500-square-foot ballroom and five breakout rooms ranging from 350 to 2,600 square feet. The Sloan Convention Center is connected to the 218-room Holiday Inn University Plaza and located directly across the street from the 90-room Courtyard by Marriott and 133-room Hilton Garden Inn. Meeting participants can easily reach plenty of shops and restaurants located within walking distance of the convention center.

Meetings can also be held at the Western Kentucky University's 40,000-square-foot Caroll M. Knicely Conference Center. Located on the university's South Campus, the Knicely Conference Center features reception space for up to 1,000 people, a 160-person auditorium, 10 meeting rooms from 600 to 4,460 square feet and a 2,250-square-foot open courtyard overlooking campus.

Dining locations in Bowling Green include the casually elegant 440 Main, as well as Mariah's, located in the city's oldest brick house. Other fine restaurants include the globally-influenced Verdi, charmingly rustic Montana Grille and local Kentucky chain Brickyard Cafe.

Bowling Green is known for its fantastic landscapes both above ground – and underground. The city is home to a cave system that takes guests along Kentucky's only underground boat tour at Lost River Cave and Valley. In fact, Bowling Green is located only less than an hour outside of Mammoth Cave National Park, home to the world's largest cave, with more than 365 known miles of underground passageways.

Other unique Bowling Green areas celebrate Bowling Green's place in automobile manufacturing – Bowling Green is the only place where Corvettes are manufactured. Corvette-centric attractions include the National Corvette Museum, where more than 70 Corvette models are on display. Groups can enjoy private events among the sports cars, as well as private tours of the museum. Located across from the museum, the GMC Corvette Assembly Plant takes visitors on an exciting behind-the-scenes tour of the making of the Corvette.
