Cancellation Policy

ARTICLE 5: Cancellations Invoices are based on the services ordered for the entire duration of the stay and for the group. The Client is therefore urged to thoroughly read the following cancellation terms. The hotel must be advised in writing of any cancellations, whether the reservation is cancelled in part or in full; verbal cancellations will not be entertained under any circumstances. 1/ Complete cancellations A change in the date of the event shall be deemed to constitute a complete cancellation in which case the cancellation terms shall apply. Failure to pay the contractually stipulated deposit(s) (other than the initial deposit) shall also be deemed to constitute a cancellation. In the event of non-compliance with the payment due dates, the hotel will be entitled to demand that the client settles the event balance forthwith; the hotel must be in receipt of said payment within 8 days of the hotel’s written request. Failure to settle the balance by the aforementioned due date will imply the client’s de facto cancellation of the event. When events are cancelled in full the hotel shall, by virtue of damages, retain the following or invoice the client as specified hereafter: - more than 30 days prior to the date of the event: 30% of the tax-inclusive price of the services ordered. - between 30 days and 16 days prior to the date of the event: 50% of the tax-inclusive price of the services ordered, - Between 15 days and 10 days prior to the date of the event: 75% of the tax-inclusive price of the services ordered, - 9 days or less prior to the date of the event: 100% of the tax-inclusive price of the services ordered. 2/ Partial cancellations Partial cancellations are understood to mean a reduction in the amount of the original offer, whatever the reasons: A shortening in the duration of the event, a reduction in the number of participants and/or in the services ordered. The pro-rata rule shall be applied on the basis of the indemnity terms set out under the complete cancellation terms. 3/ Revised terms and conditions The above cancellation terms may be revised in function of the operational requirements of the establishment and in light of the exceptional or complex nature of the event.
