Houses in Cumalıkızık carrying the Ottoman civil architectural style to the present are under preservation now. The village is located in the east of Bursa, having a total number of 270 houses. 180 of these houses are stil in use and some of the rest are being refurbished.

Ulu Mosque

Bursa Grand Mosque wasordered by the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid I and built between 1396 and 1400. It is the largest and the most monumental example of rectangular-shaped and multidomed mosques having three big entrance gates. Its mimbar made of walnut is a masterpiece in terms of its woodworking. Also the writings in the mosque are regarded as unique samples in calligraphy.

Ataturk Museum

The building, which is situated on Cekirge Avenue, is believed to be constructed at the end of the 19th Century. The lodge has two floors and a basement. During his second visit to Bursa in between 20-24 January 1923, Bursa Municipality had purchased this building from Colonel Mehmet Bey and presented it to Atatürk as a gift. After that, Atatürk stayed in this lodge on his visits to Bursa. On 1938, the building was sold to the Turkish Republic Retirements Foundation by Bursa Municipality, and on 6 February 1968, the Foundation turned over the building to the General Directorate of Antiquities and Museums. On the fiftieth anniversary of the Republic, the building after being converted to a museum, opened to the public on 29 October 1973.

Situated between the Bursa Grand Mosque and the Orhan Gazi Mosque, this historic market and inn was ordered by the Ottoman Sultan Bayezid II and built in 1490 in order to generate income for the charity constructions in Istanbul. It is still the most beautiful and the most widely visited shopping center in Bursa. It has an entrance with an arched door through the Covered Bazaar and has 45 rooms on the ground floor and 50 rooms on the top floor.In the middle of the courtyard there is a kiosk-shaped small mosque made of Stone which stands on eight legs having a fountain on the ground.

The Grand Bazaar was built by covering the gaps between the city center inns like Emir Han, Koza Han and Geyve Han with a roof.Later on it expanded with several second-hand booksellers, herbalists, quilt makers, chest makers, goldsmiths, quilted turban makers, yarn sellers, cavalry soldiers and coppersmiths.The bazaar was reconstructed after it was burnt down in 1958. Today it is definitely a center of shopping and trade with its Goldsmiths Bedestan, Quilt Makers Market, Shoe Market and Furniture Market. It has 95 chambers in total, 50 on the upper floor, 45 on the ground floor.All chambers on the upper flor are used as silk trade shops. It has several different doors of which the door on the upper floor opening towards the South, the one on the ground floor opening towards the Orhan Mosque and the Salt Market and another door in the North opening towards the Grand Bazaar itself.The big stone door opening towards the North is embellished with turquoise tiles.There is a small domed mosque in its courtyard with six fountains.Today the inner courtyard of Koza Han is designed with cafes and tea shops where people can rest.
