Ayuntamiento de Coria is located northwest in the province of Caceres, in Upper Extremadura, and extends over a small plateau situated at 263 meters above sea level, on a steep slope of more than twenty meters south. Its municipality covers 103 km and it is a land of contrasts, with landscapes shaped by gentle hills and Mediterranean scrub forest along the valley Alagón, dominated by agricultural fields that determine the main source of wealth for its 13,366 inhabitants.
