Over 20 different specialty landscapes, solar heated and powered conservatory/greenhouse. The grounds are also home to the historic Locomotive 1242 and the new, award-winning Paul Smith Children's Village.
With its authentic ambience, the trolley offers fully-narrated historic city tours that capture the lively character of days gone by. Tours include stops at top attractions, with special Halloween and Christmas tours.
Over 11,000 sq. feet of exhibits, including Indian artifacts, cowboy trappings, 19th century weapons, outlaw memorabilia, and military exhibits (1860-1943).
Big Boy Steam Engine

Even in retirement, Old Numner 4004 remains an imposing sight. The world's largest steam locomotive, this powerful coal-fired engine was designed to pull a 3600-ton train over steep grades between Cheyenne and Ogden, Utah. The 4004 is one of the eight remaining Big Boys on display throughout the country.
Terry Bison Ranch

Western entertainment just as you'd expect is but a short drive south of town. Home to 3,000 bison, the ranch is full of high kickin' good old fashioned fun, featuring outdoor cooking, horseback rides, fishing, train tours of the bison herd, and a saloon.
One dates back to 1887, the other recently renovated...both offer a wealth of Wyoming history. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the State Capitol boasts marble floors, fine woodwork, stained glass, historic photographs and wildlife display. The neighboring Wyoming State Museum features artifacts, various collections and gift shop, full of souveiners and Wyoming books.
A National Historic Landmark, this former Union Pacific Depot has been restored to its original glory. Home to a visitor center and restaurant, the Depot also features the Cheyenne Depot Museum, rish with railroad history, exhibits and interactive displays. Outside, the Cheyenne Depot Plaza plays host to concerts and other events.
Showcases one of the largest Western carriage collections in the US. Changing exhibits complement displays of Cheyenne Frontier Days and Western memorabilia, including the "Bullfighters - The Risky Road to Glory" exhibit.
The Daddy of 'em All has been kicking up dust since 1897 with the world's largest outdoor rodeo and Western Celebration. Highlighting ten dats of rip-roarin' excitment is the world's best PRCA rodeo action and Western entertainment. On tap for night shows is a selection of music superstars. It's non stop activity and hospitality at its Western best!
