Metra Commuter Rail

Serving more than 100 northeast Illinois communities throughout Cook, DuPage, Will, Lake, Kane, and McHenry counties, Metra is a suburban commuter rail service that spans 241 stations in its six-county service area, as well as 11 lines from downtown Chicago. Metra's Rock Island District line runs from downtown Chicago to Joliet, with stops in Tinley Park. Metra fares are determined by zone.
