The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago is located at 220 East Chicago Avenue, just one block east of Michigan Avenue, in the heart of the Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicago. Just steps from the Magnificent Mile and Chicago’s historic Water Tower, the Museum is the ideal venue for corporate entertaining, dramatic cocktail receptions, elegant weddings, and multimedia presentations. The MCA offers indoor and outdoor spaces accommodating up to 1,200 guests, intimate meeting rooms, and a changing array of exhibitions by today’s most important artists. Your guests will also enjoy panoramic views of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan as they stroll through the MCA galleries. The MCA’s Kern Terrace provides stunning views of Lake Michigan and the MCA Sculpture Garden. Create your own unique indoor/outdoor environment by tenting the terrace, sculpture garden, or both for seated dinners serving up to 500 guests, receptions for up to 2,000 guests, wedding ceremonies, or multimedia presentations. The state-of-the-art MCA Theater is a perfect location for annual meetings, award ceremonies, private performances, product launches, and film premieres. The 300-seat space features elegant oak-paneled walls and tiered seating which ensures that everyone has the best seat in the house. The adjacent lobby is also available for private receptions before or after your theater event. The Kanter Meeting Center, which perfectly complements the adjacent Theater and the Robert B. and Beatrice C. Mayer Education Center lobby, is specially designed to host smaller groups for a variety of events—from simple meetings to formal multimedia presentations, receptions for up to 100 guests to seated luncheons for up to 60 people. For smaller private luncheons and meetings, consider our DeCosta Dining Room, which overlooks the MCA Sculpture Garden and offers a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. Appropriate for groups of 10 or less.
