Our golf course is divided into two parts, consisting of 7,8 / 1,2 and 9 holes, in the Northeast, often conditioned by the wind from the Cantabric sea, and, the other part, consisting of the remaining holes, where the orography protect the wind significantly, and consequently, the game.

Santander Airport is situated five kilometres outside the city in the town of Maliaño, within the municipal district of Camargo, on the west side of the bay.

The National Museum and Research Centre of Altamira was created in 1979 for the conservation, study, dissemination and enjoyment of the knowledge it contains. It is an institution devoted to discovering everything about Altamira, a masterpiece in universal art history and our most remote past. The cave of Altamira was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1985.

The whole of the cave is located in the Sierra de Arnero mountain range, which in turn is located in the range of Sierra del Escudo de Cabuérniga, 20 minutes by car from Comillas. The quality, whiteness and most of all the abundance of its eccentric or helictite formations are beyond all comparison. The composition of its formations par excellence is aragonite followed by calcite. The cave is accessed on board a mining train which will take us 400 metres inside through a tunnel with conditioned mining props. After alighting from the train, we will walk for 60 metres along some old mining galleries which will lead us to the chamber called the Galería Gorda (Fat Gallery). The whole of the tour is perfectly suitable for all types of visitor.

The creation of the Pontifical Seminary in Comillas (a coastal town in the current region of Cantabria) for training priests at the end of the 19th century is the origin of the Comillas Pontifical University, a private institution under the Catholic Church, run by the Society of Jesus. This seminary was intended to train "candidates for the priesthood from all Spanish, Latin American and Philippine dioceses" with rigorous and demanding studies. Nowadays, the vast complex of original buildings located in a privileged place in the Cantabrian town remain unused.
