Dubai International Airport (DXB)

Dubai International Airport serves more than 88.2 million people annually, flying them to more than 240 destinations across six continents on more than 100 scheduled airlines. The airport's world-class facilities include the world's first and largest purpose-built A380 facility, Concourse A, which opened in 2013. The airport comprises three terminals: Terminal 1 includes Concourse D and serves all airlines; Terminal 2 serves scheduled, charter, and special flights; and Terminal 3 includes Concourses A, B, and C and is dedicated to Emirates airline.

Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC)

This airport complex includes Dubai's second airport, Al Maktoum International. The DWC airport is served by 15 passenger carriers operating an average of 153 flights weekly to more than 30 international destinations. It's also home to 20 scheduled cargo operators that fly to as many as 68 destinations around the world. The airport is linked to the city and DXB by buses operated by the Roads and Transport Authority.

Dubai Metro

One of the primary forms of public transportation in the city, Dubai Metro is a convenient way to access the Dubai airports and some of the major tourist spots in the city, including the Mall of the Emirates and the Burj Khalifa. This modern, fully automated rail system is divided into red and green lines. A further extension of the metro network has already been planned by the transportation authorities of Dubai.

Dubai offers an extensive network of buses, covering 87% of the urban area. The bus service in Dubai makes it easy for travelers to access almost every corner of the city. In fact, the bus network also allows travel from one emirate to another. It offers a convenient and affordable means of public transportation.

Taxis

Governed by the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai taxis are metered and billed according to a set standard. Taxi services in Dubai are available 24/7 and can be booked on the Smart Taxi App, which was launched by the RTA for both Android and iOS devices.

Rental Cars

Car-rental companies including Hertz, Dollar, and EuropCar are available at both the airports — DXB and DWC. Fast Rent A Car, Sixt, and Payless Car Rental are available only at DXB.
