General Post Office (GPO)

The General Post Office (GPO) was established on the 6th of January 1818. During the Irish Easter Rising the GPO served as the headquarters for the uprising Leaders. As a result, the building was badly damaged and was not repaired until some years later. To this day you can still see a few bullet holes on the exterior walls and pillars of the GPO.

National History Museum

120 days prior to the booking date, the 10% Deposit will deposit will be non refundable and thereafter the following reductions will be allowed off part of the Pre booked requirements; Between 120-90 days 50% of the remaining room block without penalty, above 50% any additional cancelled nightswill be charged at 100% of the contracted rates. Between 89-60 days 20% of the remaining room block without penalty, above 20% any additional cancelled nights will be charged at 100% of the contracted rates. Between 59-30 days 10% of the remaining room block without penalty, above 10% any additional cancelled nights will be charged at 100% of the contracted rates. Between 29-1 day 100% penalty.
