Edinburgh Castle makes for a very memorable venue for private events. Its Queen Anne Building, located in the heart of the castle at Crown Square, can host up to 185 guests, while the Jacobite Room can accommodate up to 250 guests. The entire castle can be rented for up to 500 people, who will have exclusive access to the castle's attractions.
Edinburgh Castle is open daily, April to September, from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, and daily, October to March, from 9:30 AM to 5 PM. The last tickets are sold 45 minutes prior to closing. Tickets are 6.50 for children ages 5-15 and 13 for adults.

The National Museum of Scotland has six venues available for private events. Among them, the Connect Gallery features James Watt's steam engine, the famous cloned animal Dolly the Sheep, and more as a backdrop for up to 180 guests.
