Located about five miles from downtown Grand Junction, the single-terminal Grand Junction Regional Airport provides daily nonstop service to Denver, Houston, Phoenix, Dallas/Fort Worth and Salt Lake City. It also offers bi-weekly service to Las Vegas and seasonal flights to Los Angeles. As the largest commercial travel hub on the Western Slope, the airport offers short- and long-term parking, and eatery and gift shop.

Grand Junction, CO Ground Transportation

Grand Valley Transit

Grand Valley Transit provides bus service throughout Grand Junction, Palisade, Clifton, Orchard Mesa and Fruita, with most fixed routes running Monday through Saturday. Grand Valley Transit's Route 1 runs between the Grand Junction Regional Airport and Grand Junction Monday through Friday upon request and Saturday as a regular stop from 5:15 AM to 8:05 PM. Fare is $1.50 per ride; passengers can purchase a one-day ticket for $3.75 and an 11-ride pass for $15.


Grand Valley's Amtrak station, located at 339 South 1st Street, is open daily from 8 AM to 5:15 PM. The station provides access to Amtrak's California Zephyr route, which runs daily between Chicago and San Francisco, and is bruited as one of the most scenic routes in America.


Located at 230 5th Street, Grand Junction's Greyhound station is open daily from 1 AM to 6:30 AM and 12:01 PM to 6:30 PM.
