Ragunan Zoo was the first zoo in Indonesia. The zoo was founded in 1864 under the name "Planten En Dierentuin", which means "Plants and the Zoo." Jakarta Capital City Government donated 30 hectares of land area which is home to the zoo. Jakarta Governor Ali Sadikin inaugurate Wildlife Areas of Ragunan on June 22, 1966. Currently Ragunan Zoo is located in the Ragunan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Indonesia. The zoo with an area 140 acres, there are various collection consisting of 295 species and 4040 specimens.

The Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics is a museum in Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum is dedicated especially to the display of traditional fine art and ceramics of Indonesia. The museum is located in east side of Fatahillah Square, near Jakarta History Museum and Wayang Museum. The museum displays the traditional handicraft of Indonesia. The museum also displays paintings by Indonesian painters such as the romanticist painter Raden Saleh and expressionist painter Affandi. The paintings are organized by important period in Indonesian fine arts history: The Raden Saleh Era Room (1880–1890), Hindia Jelita Room (1920s), Persagi Room (1930s), Japanese Occupation Period Room (1942–1945), Pendirian Sanggar ("Founding of Art Studio") Room (1945–1950), Birth of Realism Room (1950s), and the Contemporary Art Room (1960s-now). The museum also displays traditional ceramics from various areas of Indonesia and contemporary ceramics. There are also ceramic collections from China, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Europe.

Kidzania Jakarta is an educational indoor theme park located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Kidzania Jakarta had similar establishments such as Flight Simulator, but unlike its predecessors, Kidzania Jakarta excludes some other establishments like a Garage and some activities on similar establishments. Upon entering Kidzania Jakarta (somewhat different of things received during entry, but mostly similar to other tenants), one is given a boarding pass, a map of the city, and a 50 Kidzos (the official currency of Kidzania) paycheck upon entry. Inside, one can work on over 70 different professions. Some establishments require children to pay a significant amount of Kidzos. If one runs out of money, they must work in establishments that offer salaries in a significant amount of Kidzos. A security bracelet is required during entry so that parents can find you if you are lost, and can only be removed upon return to Jakarta.

Museum Taman Prasasti (Indonesian for Museum of Memorial Stone Park or Inscription Museum) is a museum located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum was formerly a cemetery, built by the Dutch colonial government in 1795 as a final resting place for noble Dutchmen. Several important person that was buried in the cemetery area are Olivia Mariamne Raffles - the first wife of British governor general Thomas Stamford Raffles - and Indonesian youth activist Soe Hok Gie. Other collection of this museum are ancient inscription stones, miniature of different gravestones from various provinces of Indonesia, a replica of a 17th-century hearse, and the original coffins for Sukarno and Mohammad Hatta, the first president and vice president of Indonesia. The doric-style main building in front of the cemetery is built in 1874. The building contains two wings to the left and to the right of the main building, each is used to entomb remains of males and females.

Museum of National Awakening is a history museum in Jakarta, Indonesia. The museum is dedicated for the history of Indonesian National Awakening. The building collects 2,042 items related to the Indonesian National Awakening including original furniture of the school building, medical equipment, medical costumes, weapons, photographs, paintings, sculptures, dioramas, miniatures, sketches and maps. The museum is divided into four-themed exhibition rooms: "Room of Early Revolution", "Room of National Awareness", "Room of Revolution" and "Memorial Room to Boedi Oetomo".

The museum is housed in a heritage building in Jakarta Old Town which had been the first headquarters of the Netherlands Indies gulden (De Javasche bank), the central bank of Dutch East Indies. The bank was nationalized as Bank Indonesia in 1953, after Indonesia gained its independence. The museum include old currencies on its display collection, from as early as 14th century pre-colonial era to old bank notes from around the world.

The Textile Museum is houses a collection of textiles from various islands in Indonesia. The museum is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The textile museum exhibits many kinds of Indonesian traditional weaving such as Javanese batik, Batak ulos, and ikat. There are also displays of traditional weaving instruments and equipment for textile production.
