The Lido Hotel’s Art Deco Style building dates back as far as the 1930′s. The design of the hotel was inspired by the Queen’s visit to South Africa by steam boat. This historically protected building now boasts 24 rooms, each en suite with diva baths and Indian rock tiled bathroom walls. The LIDO Hotel has conference and events facilities and can host from 50-350 guests for weddings or special functions and has its own chapel. The banquet hall is still fitted with the original spring loaded wooden dance floor.
