Meeting Planning in Kansas City, MO
Kansas City Convention & Entertainment Facilities
Only 20 minutes from the airport, the multifaceted Kansas City Convention and Entertainment Conference Center is located in the heart of downtown and has high environmental standards consistent with the LEED Silver rating. Four art deco pylons of 300 feet each hold up the roof, resulting in the most extensive convention area free of columns in the world and a striking ornament adorning the Kansas City skyline.
The three-story H. Roe Bartle Hall Convention Center encompasses nearly 400,000 square feet of column-free space and boasts 45 meeting rooms, a 46,000-square-foot ballroom, 10,700-seat arena and 2,400-seat theater. Additionally, the Municipal Auditorium offers four separate Kansas City event venues: the Music Hall, Arena, Little Theatre and Exhibition Hall. The Barney Allis Plaza completes the offerings as an outdoor park perfect for festivals and concerts.
Each of the center's first-class meeting rooms features sound-dampening acoustic panels, adaptable lighting and thermostats and simultaneous taping facilities. Amenities include a cutting-edge projection system and Wi-Fi throughout the building. The center also provides a list of approved caterers to provide food and drink service, which is prepared in the kitchen's extensive service areas including 3,000 square feet of kitchen space. Easily walkable from downtown accommodations, the facilities offer guests connections to several major hotels by glass-enclosed skywalks and underground walkways. Parking is also available in the Auditorium Plaza Garage as well as in several private lots.
