Laem Sor Pagoda

This pagoda is located at the southernmost tip of Koh Samui. Its golden hue makes for an astonishingly beautiful contrast to the blue skies above and the turquoise sea beyond. The entrance is guarded by two giant warrior statues with immense swords, colourful clothing and forbidding faces. The Buddha stands in the doorway to the rear of the statues. A great photo opportunity, with absolutely nothing obstructing your view.

Big Buddha

The Big Buddha temple sits majestically on a rocky island off Koh Samui’s northeastern corner. Known locally as Wat Phra Yai, its golden, 12-metre seated Buddha statue was built in 1972 and can be seen at a distance of several kilometres – it is often the first landmark people see when arriving by air.

Hin Ta Hin Yai Rocks

If you’re in the southeastern part of the island, stop by Hin Ta Hin Yai, an interesting rock formation that features in local folklore. The story goes that an old couple were sailing to a nearby province to arrange their son’s marriage. Due to a terrible storm, they died at sea and turned into rocks as proof to the bride’s parents of their true intentions.

Samui Airport is a certified commercial airport that commenced operation of services since 25 April 1989. Located at Tambon Borput, Ampur Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province, the site of the airport used to be a coconut plantation. However the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand considered that the size and physical features of this plot of land were suitable for building an airport.

Chaweng Beach

Facility Restrictions

- The Resort is prepared to accommodate your pet in the room provided that your pet is less than 15 lbs. (7 kgs.) and fully trained, appropriately restrained by you and your pet complies with local legislation requirements. - Your pet must be kept on a leash when it is on property unless it is in your room - Please do not leave your pet unattended. If you require a pet-sitter of pet supplies, please contact the Concierge with advance notice. - We regret that pets are not allowed in any restaurant and bar outlets, spa, fitness, beach and swimming pool area of the resort. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs. - You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet on property and in the neighborhood. - Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced - Please contact the Housekeeping Department to arrange for a convenient time of servicing your room. Unless the pet owner is present, no attempt to enter your room will be made by our employees.
