The weather in Las Vegas is marked with warm summers, balmy winters and plentiful sunlight year-round with little rain. The temperature may rise to about 90°F in the months of May, June and September, and usually surpasses to 100°F in the months of July and August. From December to May, the mountains adjoining the city receive winter snow, but it seldom snows in the city itself.
