Las Vegas Strip, NV Meeting Planning Overview

Las Vegas Strip, a 4.5-mile stretch of the Las Vegas Boulevard, is one of the world's top destinations for meetings and conventions. Over 36 million visitors come here every year to experience some the best dining, entertainment and shopping, and over 20,000 conventions take place here annually. From the ultra-sleek boardrooms, to massive tradeshow space to plush lounges overlooking the sea of neon, the Strip meeting venues cater to all types of events.

Transportation along the Strip is easy with RTC double-decker buses as well as the Monorail that connects most of the major hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center. Several Strip venues also offer free trams that run between properties. McCarran International Airport is less than 10 minutes away.

Three of the largest convention centers in the U.S. are on or within walking distance of the Strip. With the total of over 10 million square feet, Las Vegas Convention Center, Sands Expo Center and Mandalay Bay Convention Center can accommodate some of the largest shows in the world. Regardless of the size, meeting teams at just about every property help meeting planners deliver the best experience for their attendees with experience and personal attention.

Beyond the meeting space, there's much to see and enjoy on the Strip. With over 100 event venues in the Strip, ranging from comedy to top-name entertainment, meeting planners are bound to find the right fit for their group. Cirque du Soleil along has eight shows here, from the aquatic fantasy Le Reve to Beatles Love, to Viva Elvis. Shopping meets any budget and demand. Several award-winning golf courses, including Bali Hai and Wynn Country Club, are located directly on the Strip and offer event space overlooking the manicured greens.

From Bobby Flay to Guy Savoy to Bradley Ogden, dining venues in the Strip have become the new home of culinary stardom. Visitors get to enjoy the best in cuisine, with many establishments offering private dining space and catering. Creating an unforgettable dining experience has become a major force that drives the chefs to explore new flavors and immerse guests in distinct and exquisite environments.

Recently CityCenter, a 16-million-square-foot urban complex, has transformed the Strip with ultra-modern glass-and-steel architecture and added eight top-tier hotels and the Crystals, an upscale shopping and dining environment filled with specially commissioned art.

Though known for gaming, Las Vegas also offers extensive non-gaming meeting venues, including the new Mandarin Oriental, the Four Seasons and Trump International.

Las Vegas is famous for its nightlife, and meeting planners can transform many clubs into special event venues for their groups. With state-of-the-art audio-visual, catering from the best restaurants and the lights of the Strip as the backdrop, each event becomes an unforgettable experience.
