Getting Here

The Vintage sits at the heart of the city, just 300 metres from the famous Avenida da Liberdade and a short stroll from Principe Real and Bairro Alto and Chiado. It really is the perfect starting point from which to discover everything this beautiful city has to offer. Take in the sights, visit a museum or gallery, listen to a live Fado performance, go shopping or simply watch the world go by over a coffee… The airport is only half an hour away by taxi or the Aerobus runs every twenty minutes. Rato Metro is round the corner and Cais do Sodré and Rossio train stations are a short cab ride away. Should you choose to drive there is plenty of secure parking available in our private underground car park.

Local Attractions

Ponto Final: for a meal with a view

Recreation
20 minutes away
With summer just around the corner and the weather warming up, it’s the perfect time to venture across the Tagus River. Head down to the Cais do Sodré ferry terminal, just a 20 min walk down the hill from the hotel, and catch the boat across the river. Once you’re there, we recommend taking a short walk to Ponto Final, one of the best places to go for a meal with a view. Sit at the waterfront patio for an afternoon or sunset bite and drink before heading back to Lisbon for the evening.

Stró: Sustainable Portuguese Textile

Shopping
2 minutes away
Portugal is known for its textiles – and for good reason. Stró, a gorgeous textile shop just down the street from the hotel, is one of our favourites and a must-do while visiting Lisbon. Products are organic and sustainable, produced at a small scale in Portugal and focused on zero-waste. Check out the lambswool scarves, blankets, straw hats and slippers. Stop by for gifts for friends back home (or for yourself!).
