Littleton, CO Meeting Planning Overview

Located in southwest Denver about 45 minutes from Denver International Airport, Littleton is a family-friendly city with one of Colorado's few remaining historic downtowns. Littleton meeting venues give planners an opportunity to encounter a true hometown experience.

Chief of these Littleton meeting venues is the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows, minutes from Park Meadows Mall and Cherry Creek. This meetings-friendly Littleton property offers a total of 12,000 square feet of meeting space with 9 breakout rooms, accommodating up to 1,000. Other accommodations range from extended stay hotels, such as Hampton Inn & Suites, to B&Bs, although unique venues in Littleton are abundant.

Planners often offer groups a chance to explore the charming Main Street Historic District in Littleton's historic downtown. At the heart of Littleton's downtown area is its former town hall, now the Town Hall Performing Arts Center, featuring classic musicals and plays. Attendees can leisurely explore the hometown streets and choose from 250 diverse shopping, dining and entertainment options, including 4 Star restaurants, small neighborhood eateries, and a calendar filled with events and festivals, such as the annual Western Welcome Week.

A must for groups visiting downtown is the Littleton Historical Museum, the only Smithsonian-affiliated museum in Colorado. With four galleries, it's a visual walk through "living" history of Littleton. Attendees can glimpse historic life on a late-19th-century farm; see Littleton's original schoolhouse; a 1903 working blacksmith shop; an ice house; and listen to costumed interpreters. Admission is free (although groups are encouraged to schedule ahead).

Across the street from Arapahoe Community College and 3 miles north of C-470, the Hudson Botanic Gardens & Event Center, with its spectacular garden displays, offers several outdoor event venues, hosting up to 200 people. For example, hold a spring picnic for 50 over a carpet of daffodils at the Deciduous Woodland Picnic area. Or bring up to 150 people to enjoy the water garden at Monet's Place with its lotus, water lilies, and koi fish in the water garden. For another Littleton unique outdoor venue, Stockton's Plum Creek Stables is a western horse ranch, capable of hosting company picnics, western parties and hayrides. Or make it a Littleton group adventure and saddle up your attendees for a horseback ride through the nearby Chatfield State Park, watching for deer, elk and birds.

One of the most popular golf courses in the Denver Metro area is located in Littleton, Arrowhead Golf Course. Known for its rolling terrain, dramatic vistas, and thousands of towering feet of 300-million-year-old, red sandstone rocks, Arrowhead is a favorite with golfers. For planners, it also offers another Littleton private venue for up to 200 people in its Tent Pavilion or seating for 150 in its Roxborough Banquet Room. Outside the historical old town district, in the south foothills of Littleton, Chatfield Reservoir is one of the many perfect outdoor venues in Littleton; attendees can picnic, bike, hike or lounge on the beach.
