Our nearest attraction is the vast and inspirational British Museum. You can't miss it because it is just a few yards from the hotel's main entrance. The surrounding area – known as Bloomsbury – is the traditional haunt of London's literary set. A short walk to the south, lie the narrow streets of Soho and Covent Garden, and the West End theatres clustered around Shaftesbury Avenue. Covent Garden is a shoppers' paradise, with intriguing boutiques at every turn. It's also home to the Royal Opera House and the London Transport Museum.
