Every winter Gray and Humpback whales migrate from the Bering Sea to the coast of Baja Peninsula. After 12 to 13 month gestation period, pregnant female begin to arrive in late december to caive in the Pacific Ocean Waters. Males are smaller than female whales. They are 40 to 50 feet long and their weight is up to 73,000 pounds with a life period of 30 to 50 years.
