A symbol of the city’s cultural life, the Stade Velodrome is one of the most iconic monuments in Marseille. The venue for Olympique de Marseille’s most spectacular successes down the years, it is a place where spectators of all ages can expect to experience every emotion, make new friends and celebrate together. With all 67,000 seats to be completely covered and protected from the wind, the security and convenience of everyone inside the stadium will be vastly improved. The renovated Stade Velodrome will be more spacious too, as all 67,000 seats are to be redesigned to maximise comfort. Meanwhile, more than 6,000 places will be allocated to VIPs, divided between the executive tribunes and the business seats section. The venue will allow Marseille to organise concerts for 60,000 people, 15,000 of whom will enjoy the entertainment from the pitch atop a protective cover. The new Stade Velodrome will feature reception areas of the highest quality, customised services and a prestigious setting to host all forms of corporate event, such as conventions, seminars, receptions and cocktail parties. 8,500m² of conference rooms including a reception area measuring 800m² and 2,000m² of movable walls.
