HEALTHY VENUE In 2018 MiCo has been awarded as Healthy Venue and in 2019 achieved the Gold Certification by the World Obesity Federation, being the first European congress centre to have achieved Gold status. LEED GOLD CERTIFICATION MiCo has fulfilled the requirements of the Leed Green Building Rating System Certification established by the US Green Building Council. In September 2021 MiCo has been awarded with the LEED V4 O+M GOLD CERTIFICATION. 100% GREEN A2A In January 2020 A2A certified the commitment of Fiera Milano Congressi Spa and MiCo towards the development of renewable sources through the acquisition of a number of certificates guaranteed to cover the energy consumed in a given period. ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 20121:2013 In November 2023 MiCo obtained the ISO 20121 certification, which sets out the requirements for a quality management system and the ISO 14001 certification, which specifies the requirements for an effective environmental management system.

TRAIN Getting to MiCo by train is brilliantly easy as the our congress centre is located 15 minutes by car (20 min. by metro) from Milan Central Station. CAR Located right in the middle of the Northern Italy motorway network, jumping in the car is the esiest way to get to MiCo. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Two Metro Lines and five stops lead our guests to the MiCo entrances. In addition to metro lines, Milan boasts one of the most efficient public transport networks in Europe and at very low costs. Columns of San Lorenzo

The columns of San Lorenzo are an ancient Roman construction. Located in front of the basilica of the same name near Porta Ticinese, they are one of the few surviving finds from Imperial Milan. It consists of sixteen marble columns with Corinthian capitals supporting the entablature of a Roman building dating from the 3rd century, probably a large baths. The columns were moved to their present location in the 4th century to complete the nascent basilica of San Lorenzo.

Triennale Milano - Museum

The Triennale di Milano is a design and art museum in the Parco Sempione in Milan. It is housed in the Palazzo dell'Arte, which was designed by Giovanni Muzio and built between 1931 and 1933. The Milan Triennial, an international exhibition of art and design, was held at the museum thirteen times between 1936 and 1996, and – after a break of twenty years – again in 2016.

Designed in 2002 and doubled in size in 2005, the recent extension in 2011 has placed MiCo - Milan Convention Centre - among the largest conference facilities in Europe and worldwide, catering for up to 21,000 people in 70 or so fully appointed conference rooms with permanent control booth. Featuring two plenary rooms - the Gold one with seating for 4,000 and the Silver for 2,000 - and an Auditorium that seats 1,500, it is the ideal venue for large-scale performances and for international conferences requiring a large number of rooms. In the same way, the Hall 3 and Hall 4 cover an area of 54,000 sqm and they can be used for exhibition space and they can be set up as extra plenary rooms accommodating more than 5,000 people.

MiCo is one of the Europe largest conference centre. Inside MiCo there are not sleeping rooms, but we can help you with customized hotel allotments for your event as we work in close contact with the Convention Bureau (Yes Milano CVB).

Within walking distance we have 2,000 bedrooms, from luxury to budget hotels. Additionally, there are over 20,000 in the city and 30,000 in the metropolitan area.
