Tweed New Haven Regional Airport (HVN)

Located just three miles from New Haven's business district, Tweed New Haven Regional Airport offers unmatched convenience. US Airways Express is currently the only airline operating at Tweed. The airline offers five daily flights to Philadelphia, allowing connections to destinations across the United States and the world. The airport is currently in negotiations with surrounding municipalities to expand the facility's runway. This addition would allow for larger commercial aircraft to utilize the airport and would attract new carriers.

New Haven Union Station

Visitors wishing to travel to New Haven by way of train can take the Northeast Regional, Vermonter or the high-speed Acela Express line to New Haven's Union Station from points up and down the East Coast.

For travel between New Haven's Union Station and New York's Grand Central Station, New York City's Metro-North offers numerous departures throughout the day. Regular round-trip fares range from $28 to $37.

CTTRANSIT Bus Line

The Connecticut Department of Transportation's quick and efficient CTTRANSIT public bus service operates several routes throughout the greater New Haven area. An all-day pass is $4.25 for both children and adults, while a 10-ride ticket is $9 for children and $11.25 for adults.

Downtown Electric Trolley

A fun and affordable way to maneuver about the city, the Greater New Haven Transit District's Downtown Electric Trolley operates Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM. Trolleys run approximately every 15 minutes with stops throughout downtown New Haven. Trolley rides are complimentary.
