Located about 150 miles outside of Nisswa, Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport serves 135 nonstop markets, including 114 domestic and 21 international destinations.

Nisswa event venues and meeting facilities range from family-friendly resorts to beautiful parks, lake cruises and even world-class casinos. Among the large convention facilities in Nisswa is the popular Grand View Lodge, a premier golf, spa and family resort that sits on sparkling Gull Lake. The resort has hosted some of the region's foremost conferences and special events in its 25,000-square-foot Gull Lake Center, which features 17 total meeting and event rooms, including ballroom space, breakout rooms and flexible meeting spaces. Grand View Lodge also includes unique, flexible breakout venues, such as the intimate Headwaters Wine Cellar. Additional Nisswa special event venues include the 500-acre Northland Arboretum, home to demonstration gardens, more than 12 miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails and a meetings-ready visitor center. The Brainerd International Raceway features world-class racing and event venues, including open infield acres, two road courses and luxury suites. Departing from the Breezy Point Resort, the Breezy Belle welcomes group and public cruises, complemented by resort catering. Situated next to the Nisswa Community Center, the beautiful Nisswa City Park features rentable pavilion spaces and picnic areas, as well as an ice rink, basketball courts, and baseball and soccer fields.

Iven's on the Bay serves fresh seasonal fare and a spectacular view of North Long Lake, while Jake's City Grille at Gull Lake is known for its contemporary, colorful dining experience. Antlers at the Breezy Point Resort is situated in the striking Whitebirch Course Clubhouse, a unique post-and-beam white pine building accented with two six-foot-tall antler chandeliers; groups can dine indoors or under the birch trees amid gardens and a waterfall. Located at the Grand View Lodge, Cru serves worldly wines and small plates with local and regional flavors, while the famous StoneHouse Coffee and Roastery is a small-batch artisan roaster with a full coffee bar, in-house eats and intimate space.
