Rotunda Oakland

The Uptown neighborhood's Rotunda Oakland serves as a perfect spot for sophisticated events, thanks to its grand staircase, gold trim, columns, and terrazzo floor. The multi-level space is crowned with a 120-foot-high, 5,000-square-foot elliptical dome.

Oakland Scottish Rite Center

Perched on the shores of Lake Merritt near downtown Oakland, the Oakland Scottish Rite Center accommodates corporate meetings, receptions, and more throughout its four floors of event space, including a lobby, lounge, boardrooms, and banquet rooms. The center can accommodate up to 1,500 guests in its auditorium and 750 in its Grand Ballroom. Meeting amenities include in-house catering, projection, lighting, and sound services.

Chabot Space & Science Center

A place for visitors of all ages to learn about space and earth sciences, Chabot Space & Science Center features hands-on exhibits, displays, and planetarium shows, as well as the largest telescopes on the West Coast, which are open weekly to the public. The Chabot Space & Science Center also features a number of tucked-away private event spaces, as the center is surrounded by 13 acres of peaceful redwoods in the Oakland Hills. Indoor and outdoor event spaces include the 500-person Richard L. Spees Building with its circular drive, grand rotunda, and exhibit galleries; the Pleidas Courtyard; open-air amphitheater; multi-tiered EnviroGarden; three meeting rooms; a planetarium with 70-foot-diameter dome; MegaDome Theater with 60-foot-diameter screen; and Observatory Complex (which includes two hours of telescope viewing). Groups can also take part in team-building activities, including a simulated mission to Mars and Solar Lego car designing, building, and racing.
