Palm Springs, CA Public Transportation

SunLine Transit Agency (SunBus)

The Coachella Valley’s SunBus service features 11 lines that provide direct access to Palm Springs’ cultural attractions, shopping and downtown district, as well as the Palm Springs International Airport. SunBus runs daily, with Monday through Friday service from 5:12 AM to 11:02 PM and weekend service from 5:15 AM to 10:40 PM. One-way bus fare costs $1 for adults and $0.85 for children ages 5 to 17, with $0.25 transfers. Day passes cost $3 for adults and $2 for children ages 5 to 17, while a 10-ride ticket costs $10 for adults and $8.50 for children and 31-day passes $34 for adults and $24 for children. Children under age 5 ride free.

Amtrak

Amtrak offers bus service at the Palm Springs International Airport and train service at the North Palm Springs station platform. North Palm Springs serves the Sunset Limited route, which runs from Los Angeles to New Orleans three days per week, offering stops in Houston, Tucson and Pomona, among others.

Greyhound

Greyhound offers bus service at the North Palm Springs train station on Palm Springs Station Road. The station is open daily from 10:30 AM to 9 PM.
