More

Nestled among the Sandhills of North Carolina, Pinehurst invites you to become part of its history and to experience its authentic southern hospitality, elegant accommodations, luxury 4-star spa facility, family recreational activities, and of course, any one of their nine pristine world-class golf courses including world famous No.2, host site of the 1999, 2005, and the historic back-to-back U.S. Open's in 2014, won by Martin Kaymer and Michelle Wie. In addition to our National Championship, Pinehurst hosted the 2017 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship, the 2019 U.S. Amateur Championship and the 2022 & 2023 U.S. Adaptive Open. Pinehurst Resort and Country Club will be home to the U.S. Open for the fourth time in 25 years when the national championship returns to Pinehurst No. 2 in 2024. The U.S. Open’s return in 2024 will mark the first time in over a century the USGA has awarded four Opens to a single site in a span of 25 years. It will also mark the 25th anniversary of the moment Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open with a dramatic par putt to win by a stroke over Phil Mickelson.
