Corcovado - Christ Redeemer

It was completed in 1931 and stands 98 feet (30 metres) tall, its horizontally outstretched arms spanning 92 feet (28 metres). The statue, made of reinforced concrete clad in a mosaic of thousands of triangular soapstone tiles, sits on a square stone pedestal base about 26 feet (8 metres) high, which itself is situated on a deck atop the mountain’s summit. The statue is the largest Art Deco-style sculpture in the world and is one of Rio de Janeiro´s and Brazil´s touristic attraction.

Expo Mag is located at Av Paulo de Frontin, 1 in Rio de Janeiro. The Expo Mag was designed with the goal of being a multipurpose space and meet the demands of various sectors to the achievement of their events. Central location, infrastructure and technology are the major differences of the Expo Mag, which is fully prepared to simultaneously receive lectures, workshops, conferences, conventions and national and international fairs. It is worth noting the proximity of the airport Santos Dumont and Tom Jobim, and easy access to the south side and main roads in the city. The Expo Mag is also located a few meters from the metro Estacio / New Town station, which ensures fast, quiet and safe connection to other neighborhoods and regions of Rio.
