Built in 1927, the Chateau was one of the most elaborate theatres built in Rochester in the early 1900s. The exterior sunburst design marquee is lit with 636 light bulbs. Its unique French Village decor includes interior balconies and turrets and, on the ceiling, stars in the night sky. Exhibits Development Group of Saint Paul manages and operates the venue bringing international touring exhibits as well as regional and local arts and culture.

The Mayowood Historic Home is one of the top attractions in Rochester, drawing thousands of visitors each year! A tour of Mayowood is to experience the personal lives of Dr. Charlie Mayo, co-founder of the Mayo Clinic, and his son, Dr. Chuck Mayo, and gives visitors an opportunity to celebrate their amazing achievements in medicine and human service.

The Peace Plaza is located in the heart of the city at 1st Avenue Southwest and 1st Street Southwest. A public space, the Peace Plaza is open to the public to enjoy all year and is also available for rentals to host private and organized public events. The Peace Plaza also hosts many popular downtown events like Social-ICE and a portion of Thursdays Downtown. Peace Plaza also serves as a lovely outdoor courtyard directly behind the Galleria which is home to unique shops and restaurants, many locally owned. Connected by skyway to hotels, Mayo Clinic, and parking. Open 7 days a week with extended evening hours.

Created to honor American veterans, the memorial features the Wall of Remembrance - a granite, circular wall honoring over 3,000 service men and women from Southeast Minnesota who gave their lives in service to their country, the Walk of Remembrance - made up of over 6,000 pavers honoring veterans and allies, and the Trees of Remembrance - 50 sponsored trees representing every state in the U.S.
