The building contains an auditorium with seating for 21,000 people, a 7,667-pipe organ, and a 900 seat theater. The auditorium is the biggest of its kind in the world and does not have any visible support columns. Throughout the year, other events are held in the building, including Mormon Tabernacle Choir concerts, Church meetings, and civic events. The building also houses a number of original paintings including the famous Book of Mormon gallery by Arnold Friberg. Tours of the building are available year-round, and tours of the roof gardens are offered April through October.

Located in downtown Salt Lake City and the homecourt of the NBA Utah Jazz. The building originally opened as the Delta Center on Oct. 7, 1991. With seating capacity of about 20,000, the facility is the largest, most high-tech arena within a five-state radius and was built faster than any other arena at the time of its construction in 15 months and 24 days. The basketball court is named in honor of Larry H. Miller who spearheaded the construction of the building.

This magnificent granite structure was constructed over a period of 40 years, from the laying of the cornerstones on April 6, 1853 to the dedication on April 6, 1893. Although it was the first one under construction, the Salt Lake Temple was the fourth temple to be completed in Utah. The walls at the base of the temple are nine feet thick, and six feet thick at the top. Although the Salt Lake Temple is not open for tours, you can stroll around the grounds and stop in the South Visitors’ Center to see a scale model of the temple. There, you can explore the beautiful rooms of the temple with interactive displays.
