With a population of 38,212 people, Sherman, Texas, is small in size but big on charm. Having hosted outlaws such as Jesse James and William Quantrill during its frontier days, Sherman earned the nickname of "Helldorado on the Cross Timbers." With a diverse history that dates back to 1850, Sherman has a number of historic buildings and homes that make for unique and interesting special event venues. Built by a prominent Sherman businessman in 1896, the C.S. Roberts House is the only remaining Eastlake-Stick style Victorian home in Greyson County and a gorgeous setting for receptions and business entertaining.
