Sioux Falls Regional Airport – Joe Foss Field (FSD)

Located just minutes from downtown Sioux Falls and the Sioux Falls Convention Center, the Sioux Falls Regional Airport is the largest airport in South Dakota. Sioux Falls Regional serves the region of Sioux Falls, southeast South Dakota, southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa. The airport provides direct service to the major cities of Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Dallas, Los Angeles and Orlando, as well as connections to more than 200 domestic cities. Sioux Falls Regional features shopping and dining amenities, easy parking and a conference room accommodating up to 42 people.

Sioux Falls Regional Airport has recently made a number of upgrades and will complete all major renovations by October 2012. Over $20 million has been invested in the project and includes a new ticket area, parking lot improvements and concourse enhancements. The new SkyDine restaurant opened for travelers in 2011 with more seating, an expanded menu and full bar.

Sioux Falls, SD Ground Transportation

Sioux Area Metro Bus System

The Sioux Area Metro bus system operates along 11 routes throughout Sioux Falls and its many attractions, offering direct access to the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The bus system runs Monday through Saturday. One-way fare is $1 per ride for adults and $0.50 for children ages 5 to 10. Children under age 5 ride free. Daily service is $3 per person, while a 10-ride pass is $8.50 per person, one-week pass is $10 per person and monthly pass $25 per person.

Sioux Falls Trolley

The free Sioux Falls Trolley runs a loop from Falls Park to downtown Sioux Falls, with stops at nearly every block in the downtown area. The trolley runs mid-April through mid-October, Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM.

Greyhound

The Sioux Falls Greyhound station is located at 1500 West Russell Street. Station hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 7 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 7 PM.
