Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre

The Manuels River trails meander over 6 km along a picturesque river valley. Visit us to learn about one of the finest trilobite fossil sites in North America. Signal Hill National Historic Site

As St. John’s most popular landmark, Signal Hill recalls the town’s historic past and communications triumph, as well as offering coastal hikes and colourful performances against sweeping views overlooking the Atlantic. Signal Hill was the site of St. John’s harbour defences from the 17th century to the Second World War and where Guglielmo Marconi received the world’s first transatlantic wireless signal in 1901.

Museum
The Rooms Provincial Museum tells the stories of Newfoundland and Labrador and its diverse peoples. Over a million natural history specimens and over a million artifacts bring these stories to life, connecting us with our past and the environment that has both shaped our experiences and has been changed by our presence. Experience art in all its forms at The Rooms Provincial Art Gallery. Two floors of galleries with 10,000 square feet of exhibit space make it the place to see selections from over 7,000 works in the permanent collection and travelling exhibits from around the world.

Quidi Vidi Artisan Studios

The Quidi Vidi Village Artisans Studios is a project of the Anna Templeton Centre that was designed to accelerate the growth of new craft enterprises. Upstairs 10 Studios are rented by emerging craftspeople where they produce and sell their work in a supportive and encouraging environment. On the main floor community programming is offered in the public space and outreach programming supports home-based artisans.
