Spectacular from the outside and high performance on the inside: the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. Since 1950, the sports cars with the Stuttgart Rössle on the bonnet have been manufactured here at Porscheplatz. Since 2009, right next to the headquarters of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, a spectacular automobile museum that tells you about the product and motorsport history of the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer. Inside you can see more than 80 vehicles and 200 small exhibits on 5,600 square metres of exhibition space: in addition to world-famous automobile icons such as the 356, 911 or 917, technical high performances from the early years of the 20th century by Professor Ferdinand Porsche make the heart of every automobile enthusiast beat faster. By the way, all the vehicles still fulfil their purpose today: they drive.

The Staatsoper Stuttgart is one of Europe's foremost opera houses and at the same time a branch of Europe's largest tripartite theatre. The Wurttemberg State Theatres, comprising the Stuttgart Opera, the Schauspiel Stuttgart theatre company and the Stuttgart Ballet, have been operating successfully since the year 1994 under a model of management which is unique within Germany: all three sectors are completely autonomous, both from an artistic and from an economic point of view, under the administration of their respective directors. The Stuttgart Opera repeatedly provides important impulses for today's music theatre scene and enjoys a reputation as one of the world's leading opera houses. The company chooses to operate as an ensemble theatre.

Would you like to take a journey through over 130 years of fascinating automotive history? Your journey through time begins in 1886 at the top of the ninth floor of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. From there, you can take two tours with wide curves that will take you through the history of the automobile all the way to the future. On your way, you will encounter over 160 vehicles and more than 1,500 exhibits on 16,500 square metres - definitely enough to immerse yourself in the history of the automobile and the history of the Mercedes-Benz brand.
