There are approximately 7,000 rooms with retreat-like to town-center locations. Properties range from the five-star caliber Ritz Carlton Highlands (opened December 2009), to the lakefront Hyatt Regency Resort, Spa and Casino, the ski-in/ski-out Village at Squaw Valley USA, Resort at Squaw Creek and Northstar-at-Tahoe(TM) Resort, to the boutique style PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn, to the all-inclusive Granlibakken Conference Center and Lodge, to larger and smaller condominium complexes and intimate bed and breakfasts.
Over $200 million has been invested in property and facility renovations that are either recently completed or in progress. Occupancy and rates peak from Memorial Day through Labor Day and during winter holiday periods.

Nearly 120 eateries, many award-winning, offer fine dining and casual meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Transportation
Three nearby international airports serve North Lake Tahoe: Reno/Tahoe, Sacramento and San Francisco. At Reno/Tahoe International, alone, an average of 140 flights a day arrive from 15 non-stop and 27 one-stop departure points. The airport’s website – renoairport.com – offers two ways to search for flight possibilities, by interactive map or schedule.
Two interstate highways connect North Lake Tahoe with any of the three airports year-round. Ground transportation is easy to arrange. From Reno/Tahoe, for example, The North Lake Tahoe Express offers convenient, door-to-door shuttle service. Attendees will have about 45 comfortable minutes to review the agenda, check in with the office, take in the scenery.
