Beauchêne has long supported Ducks Unlimited and has received D.U.’s coveted “Bronze Teal” award. We now have a significant population of this fine bird but we have not permitted them to be hunted for a dozen years. Fishing and Hunting is limited to our guests throughout the superb 50,000 acre exclusive territory. In consequence, Beauchêne is able to develop and apply management techniques that allow wildlife to flourish in our park-like setting. Trapping, primarily focused on beavers working in potentially damaging locations, is limited to minimum levels. The annual moose and black bear harvest is held well below provincially recommended numbers.

Cancellation Policy
A 30 % deposit is required to confirm reservation. Deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to a future trip within one year. Once confirmation of total in party and number of days is made, along with deposit, final payment will be based on original number in party and number of days, unless management is notified 60 days prior to the reservation date. If deposit is not received by due date as stated on confirmation, reservation will be cancelled without notice. Final payment is payable 30 days prior to arrival and is not refundable.

• Our excellent meeting room facilities can accommodate groups from two to forty people but not all meetings are held in the board room. Enjoy the outdoors as the backdrop for your next meeting. • Team up with co-workers or clients for a friendly fishing challenge, allowing for some casual conversation in an easy outdoor atmosphere. • Reward your team for a job well done. Entertain eight to ten people on one of our large pontoon boats while wetting a line or just taking in the beautiful sights and sounds of Beauchêne. A lunch experience to savour, Beauchêne’s legendary shore-lunch will truly be a meal to remember. Whether prepared by an experienced guide or by you and your guests it is always a special event. It is rare to taste fish this fresh cooked on an open flame and it will be a frequent topic of conversion on return to the real world. • Let us help you create your own unique adventure. Lead your team on a canoe or kayak trip on our “around the world” canoe route, exploring a variety of Beauchêne’s lakes and short portages. • Take a hike on one of the well-marked trails and enjoy being surrounded by nature while learning to navigate with a compass or GPS unit. Take this opportunity to observe the wildlife of North Western Quebec, where many species of birds call the area home. • Go for a bike ride and investigate for miles on dirt roads and wooded trails without the worry of traffic. Beauchêne offers the use of the resort mountain bikes but you are welcome to bring your own. • A simple afternoon at one of the secluded beaches could prove to be the most productive. • Keeping in touch with the outside world is a neccessity in today’s business world. We are equipped with internet access, satellite television, fax and copy services, telephone and some cell phone coverage. • For evening entertainment the licensed lounge located in the White House offers a casual atmosphere with a billiard and card tables. The lounge also features a beautiful handcrafted granite fire place; keep cozy and relax. Share a drink and the day’s events with others. Beauchêne presents vast opportunity to think outside the box.
