Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) Bus System
Visitors to Valley Forge can utilize the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) bus system. As the nation's fifth-largest public transportation system, SEPTA offers bus, subway and trolley services throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding region. Valley Forge is serviced by Septa's bus system, including routes 123, 124 and 125, providing access to King of Prussia and Center City Philadelphia. Amtrak (30th Street Station)
Visitors to Valley Forge can access Amtrak service at Philadelphia's historic 30th Street Station, located 17 miles outside of Valley Forge. As the second busiest train station in the northeastern United States and host to more than 25,000 commuters daily, the 30th Street Station services nine major routes, including the Pennsylvanian, Acela Express, Cardinal/Hoosier State, Keystone, Northeast Regional, Carolinian/Piedmont, Crescent, Silver Service/Palmetto and Vermonter. The station is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
