Hard to believe today, but the area around our Hampton Inn hotel in Winchester used to be America's wild Western frontier. When Daniel Boone arrived here in April 1775, he quickly established the state's second settlement-Fort Boonesborough. Yep, that puts us right in the middle of Daniel Boone country. When you come to our hotel in Winchester, you can visit Fort Boonesborough State Park or hike Pilot Knob, where Boone first saw the bluegrass of Kentucky. It's all less than six miles from the Hampton Inn hotel in Winchester, and much of it still has the same natural beauty that first captivated one of America's most famous pioneers.
So come explore all central Kentucky has to offer. Our hotel in Winchester will make the perfect home camp for your own adventure. We're in the boonies and proud of it.
