Windsor's newest and largest multi-purpose sport and entertainment complex, home to the OHL's Windsor Spitfires and other events such as concerts, family shows and trade & consumer shows. Cirque Du Soleil was held here in November of 2010. The Community Centre boasts three regulation ice pads used for public skating, local hockey leagues, figure skating and other ice sports. A regulation size sports gym, leisure gym and reception hall as well as various meeting rooms and program rooms, are also present. A few events coming in 2012 are: Cirque Du Soleil Quidam; Harlem Globetrotters; Hedley; SkateCanada International 2012; SkateCanada Synchronized Skating Championships; World Under 17 Hockey Challenge.

The John Freeman Walls Historic Site and Underground Railroad Museum is family owned and operated. When visiting this unique tourist attraction, you will meet descendants of the Underground Railroad and conductors (tour guides) who will take their passengers (you) on an interactive trip back into time. The focal point of the visit is a log cabin, built in 1846 by an escaped slave named John Freeman Walls and his wife Jane King Walls, who rest in the family cemetery on this property. The property is now an educational field studies destination and tourist attraction, and was a favorite place of solitude for the late Mrs. Rosa Parks.
Known as the “Father of Conservation,” Jack Miner introduced bird banding to trace migratory periods of waterfowl. Visitors are always welcome at the sanctuary and museum, located about 30 minutes from Windsor and Detroit; admission is free. You can watch the capture, banding and release, which is done late in the afternoon with a spring-loaded net that is instantly flung over a pond popular with the birds.

A visit to the John R. Park Homestead and Conservation Area will take you back in time to the 1850s. The house and farm buildings of John and Amelia Park are restored to bring the nineteenth century to life. Explore the Parks' magnificent Classical Revival home, built in 1842, taste baking from the kitchen fireplace or play with a wooden toy in the children's bedrooms. See the workings of an 1885 steam engine-powered sawmill and stop by the blacksmith shop to witness the making of small hardware and repairing of farm tools at the coal-fired forge.
An hour and a half tour takes visitors back in history to the height of the Hiram Walker family’s success and his personal friendships with the biggest names in history – Henry Ford and Thomas Edison. Guests are brought into the basement’s Speak Easy room where meetings were held with Al Capone and The Purple Gang and are told the story of how Canadian Club whisky quenched the thirst of many U.S. citizens for 13 long years during Prohibition from 1920-1933. Guests are invited to Hiram’s Sampling Room, a Canadian Art Gallery and into the theatre to watch a short video about the production of Canadian Club. The tour finishes with a formal whisky tasting of the premium, classic whisky, and sherry cask.
