Operation Change


Don't miss Operation Change, a 10-part docu-series that showcases stories of positive impact around the world.  Steven Sawalich ('99) joins other philanthropists, volunteers, and celebrities to tackle some of the most challenging issues plaguing the globe.  

The show airs on Mondays at 10/9c on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Worldly Waves - Florence, Italy

This July, alumni traveled to Florence, Italy, where they stayed in Pepperdine's beautiful and historic Villa Di Loreto property (set along the Arno river and a 15 minute walk to the heart of downtown Florence).  The alumni began their Italian adventure trip with a cooking class set in an authentic Tuscan villa kitchen and taught by delightful Chef Maria.  They learned how to make, and eat, six special Florentine dishes including fresh tagliatelle pasta made from scratch! The alumni took a walking tour throughout Florence and gazed at the magnificent architecture including such sites as the Duomo Cathedral and toured the Uffizi gallery with famous works such as the Birth of Venus by Botticelli.  They also toured the Tuscan countryside and various wineries where they learned how Chianti wine is made.  Each night the alumni experienced authentic Italian dinners in highly-rated restaurants throughout the city.  Interested in alumni travel opportunities?  Stay tuned for information on our upcoming trips for next summer! 77 Waves Earn WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Status



The WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll pays tribute to student-athletes that possess at least a 3.0 grade point average.  The 10 WCC schools put a total of more than 1,200 student-athletes on the list from the 14 sports that the conference sponsors.
