Barry Carol FOREBLAST
 Dr. Carol Barry Talks SLIS in the 21st Century

The LSU School of Library & Information Science welcomed Dr. Carol Barry as Interim Director in March 2015, less than a month after the School announced its curriculum overhaul featuring new concentrations and degree options. We sat down with the new director to update our alumni and friends on SLIS’ exciting new and improved look with Barry at the helm.

Faculty member & friend to retire from University after 23 years of service

CHSE fondly thanks and bids farewell to Dr. Ed Holton, Director of the School of Human Resource Education & Workforce Development (SHREWD). Holton will retire effective May 15, 2015 after more than 23 years of service at LSU.

The School of Social Work’s sold out spring conference was held April 23-24, 2015 at the Louisiana Resource Center for Educators in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
