Scorecard and Reporting Date To Remember

Attention superintendents and principals. This is a reminder that your School Improvement Plan (SIP) is due on September 1, 2014. You can access and complete the School Improvement Plan through the ASSIST MDE School Improvement/AdvancED website. Please note that the SIP is one measurement used on the Michigan School Accountability Scorecards. You already may have submitted your School Improvement Plan for Title I planning purposes to meet the early obligation date of July 1, 2014. Please disregard this message if you have completed and submitted the SIP. Also, if you submitted a Single Building District Improvement Plan you have met your reporting requirement. For additional information regarding resources and tools for all of your reporting needs, please click here.

Program Evaluation Tool

Although the Program Evaluation Tool has not been assigned yet to your specific school or school system you are still able to start the diagnostic. The official due date is June 30, 2015.

Education Entity Master

Please be sure to update the Education Entity Master with the current administrative staffing information if your school or school system has a new principal or superintendent. ASSIST uses a weekly information regarding the staffing of principals and superintendents.

Fall Conference 2014

Mark your Calendar for the AdvancED Michigan Fall Conference 2014 scheduled for November 6-7. Additional information is available on the conference website.

MDE Fall School Improvement Conference

The Michigan Department of Education has schedule their annual Fall School Improvement Conference on November 17-18. Additional information is available on their conference website.
