Did you know that a random sample of School Improvement Plans are reviewed each year and a report is prepared for the State Board of Education and the Michigan Legislature? The Random sample reviews of School Improvement Plans are used to inform the legislative report. Legislation requirements can be found here.

Have you seen the new design for the AdvancED/MDE page? Within each tab, you will find the same information as you have accessed before except for now the tabs are divided by Resource type. On each clickable tab, you can locate information for Schools, Districts, Quick Guides, Flowcharts, Links for MDE pages, AdvancED Surveys, Templates and Trainings. AdvancED and MDE support information is listed at the bottom of each page if any further assistance is needed.

If you need assistance with updating your goals and plans, please view the provided Goals and Plans webinar. Remember, if you make any changes to goals after a plan has been created, you will need to edit the plan, deselect then reselect the updated goal in order for the updates to appear within the plan.
