Saudi Aramco Global Reliability Forum 2013

The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce is proud to promote the third annual Saudi Aramco Global Reliability Forum (SAGRF 2013). Hosted by U.S.-subsidiary Aramco Services Company, is set to be
bigger and better than ever with an all-star lineup of keynote speakers,

Keynote speakers include a former deputy
assistant secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy, former executive
assistant director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, current
chancellor and president of a tier one research university, and current
NASA scientist with multiple U.S. patents in robotic technologies.

Trade Mission Series: State of Qatar - 2022 World Cup
Delegates of the Bilateral Chamber's Qatar 2022 World Cup Trade Mission are given a presentation and update briefing on Qatari Diar's extensive development plans for Lusail City.
Executives and senior leadership from thirteen companies joined the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce and US-Qatar Business Council on our Qatar 2022 World Cup trade mission to Doha. The delegates met with a number of government and private entities responsible for implementing over $140 billion worth of infrastructure, media, hospitality, and entertainment projects. Some of the organizations included Ashgal, CH2MHill, Katara Hospitality, Gulf Warehousing Company and ictQatar.
Bilateral Chamber's Qatar 2022 World Cup Trade Mission Delegates
The diverse group of delegate companies included Boeing, Global Elite Group, AEG Ogden, Wasserman Media Group, d'Escoto Inc., Booz Allen Hamilton, Bemo International, World Development Group, Rigid Global Buildings, Digial Kitchen, COMEDIA + KIND, The Bulsard Group, and the Office of the Mayor of Los Angeles. Throughout the trade mission, our delegates found strong interest in their capabilities and a number of partnerships and business deals have already begun to emerge from this successful visit to Qatar.

5th Annual Teachers Educating Across Cultures in Harmony (TEACH) Fellowship
2013 TEACH Fellows Meet With Mr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, President of GPIC in Manama, Bahrain.
The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce completed their 5th Annual Teachers Educating Across Cultures in Harmony (TEACH) Fellowship, a cross cultural exchange program between educators from the US and the Arab world. The majority of this year's fellows are involved in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education and come from California, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, and New York.
While on the week-long education program which ended June 7th, the fellows learned about the culture of the region, reviewed best practices in education and teaching methodology, and gained first-hand experiences they can bring back to their classrooms in the United States. Places visited on the trip included Bahrain Polytechnic, the Bahrain Science Center, the Qatar Museum of Islamic Art, and Qatar's Education City, among others.

CEO Series: Basrah, Iraq Business Delegation
Keynote Address by Naufel Al-Hassan, Commercial Counselor for Iraq, Iraqi Commercial Office, Washington, D.C.
The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce hosted a private business delegation for a luncheon followed by a business to business matchmaking event. The program was attended by over 75 US companies interested in identifying Basrah local partners in order to target opportunities in Iraq.
The luncheon featured guest speaker Mr. Naufel Al-Hassan, Commercial Counselor of the Iraqi Commercial Office in Washington, D.C., who highlighted the importance of SME to SME engagement and how Iraq’s security and democracy hinges on the success of US-Iraq business development.
Bill Bigelow of Portakamp Inc., the sponsor of the luncheon and member of the Bilateral Chamber, stated “The Luncheon and the B2B meetings were among the best … attended at an event of this type.” The delegation also stressed the importance of meeting US companies, and shifting the image of the business capacities and qualities available in Iraq, particularly in Basrah.
