In January the Title I Schoolwide/Targeted Assistance Diagnostics were revised to further clarify questions related to completing the Title I Schoolwide /Targeted Assistance Diagnostic. The Title I SW/TA documents have a new feature--Template (with commentary). This new template gives additional direction and guidance to help schools with their preparation in meeting the diagnostic requirements. Readers of the Title I Schoolwide and Targeted Assistance Plan will read only the Title I Schoolwide or Title I Targeted Assistance Diagnostic. The information includes:
When logging on to the advanc-ed.org/mde site, you will see a listing for Resources on the left-hand side. Under the Resources heading you will see the word Template. Clicking on the word Template will take schools to the web page containing all of the templates. The templates are shown as links. Depending on the school status, schools will need to select the correct template for either Title Schoolwide or Title I Targeted Assistance. The link indicating Title I Schoolwide is the blank template in Word format. The second template, listed as Title I Schoolwide, shows the template with the comments to assist in answering the questions. The same principle applies to Title I Targeted Assistance.
